The Accountants of Homeland Security will be doing a 30 minute set at “Words That Kill” this Tuesday. The theme is nerd-dom. It looks like it should be a really fun show.
The Spot - 4437 N. Broadway
Tuesday, May 12th, 7p, $5
Here’s the description:
“Our second themed WORDS THAT KILL will celebrate everything geeky and nerdy. Mojdeh, as everyone already knows (or should know, anyway) is a HUGE Star Trek fan and because the movie is coming out, we want to devote May’s WORDS THAT KILL to featuring artists whose art is heavily influenced by all the cool nerdy obsessions like sci-fi, computers, comics, etc. We are really excited as we’re trying to make this event as weird, wild and wacky and possible, while still being committed to quality of content and performance.
Mojdeh will be your geeky host for the evening. She will also entertain left and right with her new prop poetry set!! Also performing at this event are: Accountants of Homeland Security (sketch comedy group), Iggy (poetry), Gregory Pickett (10x award winning poet!), Travis Tack (comedian), Joe Motisi (comedian) and several other comedians, spoken word artists and tons of nerdiness and geekiness:)”
As an internet cartoonist, I know nothing about nerdiness.
