During his state of the union address on Tuesday, President Joe Biden condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin for having an identical foreign policy.
“The Russian Federation is a rogue state,” the commander and chief told Congress. “And rogue states should not be allowed to steal our act!”
He then declared, “The United States must stand up against all human abuses we are not actively committing.” And concluding with, “war crimes are never okay. Unless they’re in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Iraq again.”
Public sentiment on Eastern Europe has been shifting in recent weeks.
According to a poll conducted by AHS news, national opinion has gone from just 30% of Americans knowing that Ukraine was a country to 70% wanting to have Volodymyr Zelensky’s bastard children.
“Honestly, I didn’t really give a shit about this Russia stuff,” said Monica Tudyk, a respondent who wished to remain anonymous. “But then I saw a picture of Ukrainian civilians in a bunker, and I could help but notice they were… you know…” she then gestured vaguely at her own skin.
